Transecte
Itinerari o recorregut a peu en què l'observador compte i anota tots els individus de les espècies que detecta, ja sigui visualment o auditivament. El transecte és una de les metodologies estandaritzades per fer seguiment d'espècies. El punt clau per l'obtenció de dades comparables any rera any és l'estandarització, és a dir, que tots els observadors facin el seu cens seguint unes pautes comunes.
