ATTENTION, Sant Miquel del Fai will remain closed if there is a high risk of forest fire (Alpha plan at level 3).

We welcome you to Sant Miquel del Fai, a place where nature and culture go hand in hand. In this heritage, the force of water has shaped a unique geological landscape, where the weight of history has left a fascinating mark behind.

During your visit you can enjoy an exhibition, an audiovisual show and a signposted itinerary that will allow you to explore this privileged environment.

To enter Sant Miquel del Fai you must have a ticket. In addition, if you are coming with a private vehicle, you will also need to have a QR code to park it. Follow the instructions below. The first form is for individual tickets and the second for groups of more than 8 people. People who reserve a parking space with reduced mobility can reach the gate passing by the Rossinyol bridge.

To make your visit as friendly and orderly as possible, you are asked to follow the guidelines and recommendations below and to heed the directions of the staff at all times. It is forbidden to smoke in the premises and it is also not possible to access it with dogs, except pugs.

Although you have an entrance, Sant Miquel del Fai can close when there is a high risk of fire (level 3 of the Alfa plan) and due to adverse weather conditions (storms, snow, landslides...).

Regulations and information of interest


 Opening hours

  • Saturdays, sundays and public holidays: from 10 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. (except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's). Access allowed until 4 p.m.
  • For weather, capacity or safety reasons, this schedule may vary at certain times of the year. 
     

 Entrance

  • Capacity is limited. The entrance is free, but to access, you must make a prior booking for your ticket, and if you come by private vehicle, you must also book a parking space.
  • Access to Sant Miquel del Fai will be in accordance with the opening hours and the corresponding entry ticket.
  • The entry ticket is personal and non-transferable, valid for the whole day, and must be kept during your stay.
  • If you do not have a ticket, you will need to request one at the facility itself. In this case, immediate availability is not guaranteed, as it will depend on the capacity of the venue at that time.
  • Priority entry will be given to people with reduced mobility and their companions.
  • Sant Miquel del Fai has a defibrillator. If necessary, contact the information staff.
  • The maximum capacity is 200 people.
  • People who visit Sant Miquel del Fai assume the responsibility of being in an environment where rockfalls or other damage typical of the natural environment can occur.
  • The Barcelona Provincial Council does not assume any responsibility for damages that may occur due while driving or parking of vehicles in the premises, due to the conduct of the injured party himself or a third party and is the sole determining cause of the damage.

 Admission policy

  •  The organization reserves the right of admission.
  • People under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  • At the gate, bags, rucksacks or bulky items that the staff of the venue deem relevant may be checked. 
  •  To facilitate your visit, we are adapting areas for those with reduced mobility or different abilities.
  • With respect to domestic animals, entry is only permitted to guide and service dogs.
  • Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the premises.
  • Clothing must be respectful to others. Access will be denied to people who are barefoot or fully or partially unclothed.
  • It is prohibited to enter with any wheeled mobility system, such as bicycles, skateboards, skates or any other electric transport device, except those that are necessary for people with reduced mobility (such as wheelchairs and prams).
  • To ensure a quality visit, and out of respect for other visitors, it is necessary to act civilly throughout your visit, without raising the tone of your voice, as well as not crowding, running and obstructing the circulation of other visitors. 
  • The natural and architectural heritage must be taken care of. Do not litter and please take the waste you generate with you.
  • You may not display any posters or banners or carry out any demonstrations or political or religious acts inside the premises.
  • For security and accessibility purposes, it is forbidden to access the restricted areas. 

 Respect for the environment

  • Do not touch the objects and elements on display.
  • It is not forbidden to collect geological, archaeological or palaeontological elements either inside or around.
  • Sant Miquel del Fai has designated rest areas. You may not sit on archaeological, heritage or geological elements.
  • You are in a protected space with a high geological value subject to the inclemencies of nature. Always follow the relevant safety instructions and do not leave the marked route.
  • The natural water is not drinkable. There is also no bar service, but there is a drinking fountain.

 Photographs, videos, mobiles and electronic objects

  • Flash-free photography and home-format video recording are possible.
  • Professional journalists and photographers who wish to report will need to request the relevant authorisation with sufficient advance notice from the management office.
  • Avoid making noise or playing electronic devices that emit sound or amplify the voice, and the volume of mobile devices should be turned down.

 Materials and products not permitted

  • Weapons or dangerous objects of any kind, including those of self-defence.
  • Balls.
  • Skates or wheeled vehicle.
  •  Glass containers.
  • Any object or material that may cause an alarm and/or that the security staff considers may pose a risk to the works or people.

Final considerations

  • Access to the facilities implies acceptance of these regulations.
  • In case of evacuation, you must follow the instructions of the information staff.
  • The organisation is not responsible for damages caused by non-compliance with these rules or by incorrect use of the facilities.
  • Failure to comply with these rules entitles the organisation to refuse access or expel the person who violates them, and to take the necessary legal actions to claim the resulting damages, as well as any compensation that may correspond.
